About

I'm Kayla, a recent graduate of San Diego State University’s Graphic Design program. My design approach has been greatly influenced by my mother, an interior designer, and the 2006 book Fingerprint: The Art of Using Hand-Made Elements in Graphic Design by Chen Design Associates, which I discovered by accident at a thrift store. I'm passionate about delivering tangible, dimensional experiences that can translate through a 2D digital design-scape. I often find inspiration in the smaller details of my own world, and believe that the human experience is fundamental to delivering a powerful design.
